A Dangerous Time

 

Skimming the headlines over the last few days, I am reminded once again of just how dangerous this moment is. 

 

NATO is conducting nuclear defense drills. 

 

The war in Ukraine is depleting our military. 

 

Communist China is threatening war. 

 

Iran is in chaos. 

 

The global economy is on the rocks.

 

COVID (here and here) is back in the news.

 

Meanwhile, Senator Charles Grassley is demanding that the FBI release “voluminous evidence with respect to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden and James Biden.”

 

If Republicans take back Congress, it’s possible that Joe Biden and multiple members of his cabinet will be impeached.  Massive oversight investigations are necessary, and they are already being planned.  And Democrats know it, too. 

 

So, the next three weeks may be the most dangerous period our constitutional Republic has ever faced.  There is nothing the left isn’t willing to do. 

 

They are stoking racial tensions.  What responsible person does that? 

 

They have weaponized law enforcement.  They are using the laws meant to target the Taliban and radical Islamists to go after conservatives. 

 

We know they are willing to lie to federal courts to get illegitimate warrants.  (Here and here.) 

 

They are willing to create violence, and they used the 2020 riots to frighten voters.     

 

I believe their willingness to do anything and everything explains why the historically passive and clueless Joe Biden, the only guy in the Obama White House who didn’t want to go after Osama bin Laden, is suddenly pretending like he’s Rambo and willing to risk nuclear war in Ukraine. 

 

He is desperate to look like a tough guy in order to unite the country around him and his party.

 

This is an extraordinarily dangerous time.  We must urgently pray for America.

 

 

 

The Party Of Death

 

In a recent opinion piece, I exposed the pro-abortion policies of the Biden Administration.  But there’s something even more extreme going on. 

 

The radical left may need an exorcism.  So-called “progressives” are so committed to the destruction of innocent life that they are exploiting faith to justify their desire for more death.

 

During the pandemic, Joe Biden and the progressive left told us that we had to shut down virtually everything – our churches, our businesses, our schools – to save lives.  It was an emergency. 

 

But now this same president has decided it is an emergency if a preborn child is saved from abortion.  In fact, he created a White House task force to ensure that abortion clinics keep operating, and he put the attorney general of the United States on this abortion task force!

 

Within days, the Department of Justice formed its own abortion task force, and began hunting down and arresting pro-life activists based on old charges that state and local authorities dismissed.

 

President Biden insists no faith knows when life begins and that there is no conflict between his pro-abortion policies and the Catholic Church.  (Catholic leaders obviously disagree.)  But if there’s no conflict, why are so many barbarians attacking Catholic churches? 

 

But Biden isn’t alone.  Kamala Harris has said repeatedly that supporting abortion “does not require anyone to abandon their faith or their beliefs.”  What about the belief that life is sacred?

 

Governor Gavin Newsom, who leads our largest state, had the audacity to misquote Jesus’s words about being a good neighbor to entice women to come to California to abort their babies.

 

The entire media complex is obsessing over whether Herschel Walker paid for an abortion over 10 years ago.  But there’s not a word about Reverend Raphael Warnock using the Bible to justify abortion or John Fetterman declaring, “abortion is sacred.”

 

This is a sick party obsessed with death!  And Biden is at it again today!

 

God said, “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”  End of story.

 

 

 

Smears & Silence

 

All over the country, the left is pouring unprecedented amounts of money into critical House and Senate contests.  They are using much of it to smear conservative candidates as racists and threats to our democracy. 

 

At the same time, left-wing Democrats are refusing to debate many of their opponents, ensuring there is no large audience where the conservative candidate can bypass the biased media, defend themselves, and crawl out from underneath the avalanche of negative ads.

 

In many governors’ races, Senate races and House races, Democrats are refusing to stand before the voters and explain their radical records and extreme positions. 

 

I haven’t seen this kind of coordination since several swing states all announced they were no longer counting votes at 2:00 in the morning! 

 

 

 

Big Debate Moments

 

In some states, like Ohio, the Democrat is trailing in the polls and feels he or she must debate.  Last night, Republican J.D. Vance directly confronted Democrat Tim Ryan about racist smears against his family. 

 

“Here’s exactly what happens when the media and people like Tim Ryan accuse me of engaging in the great replacement theory. . .  What happens is my own children, my biracial children, get attacked by scumbags . . . because you are so desperate for political power that you’ll accuse me, the father of three beautiful biracial babies, of engaging in racism.  We are sick of it!”

 

“You can believe in a border without being a racist.  You can believe in the country without being a racist, and this just shows how desperate this guy is for political power.”

 

In Georgia, Republican Gov. Brian Kemp asked Democrat Stacey Abrams how many sheriffs had endorsed her campaign.  She refused to answer the question, and instead claimed to be a strong supporter of law enforcement.  That’s when Kemp dropped the hammer.  He said:

 

“Ms. Abrams refused to answer the question, so I’ll let you know that the answer is zero.  No sheriffs are endorsing her statewide because of her stances on wanting to defund the police, eliminate cash bail and serving on the boards of organizations . . . that are promoting the defund the police movement.”

 

There was an equally powerful moment in the Georgia Senate debate.  After Democrat Raphael Warnock finished ranting about abortion, Republican Herschel Walker said:

 

“[Warnock] told me black lives matter, and if you think about it, senator, in Atlanta, Georgia, there’s more black babies [being] aborted than anything. So, if black lives matter, why are you not protecting those babies? And instead of aborting those babies, why are you not baptizing those babies?”

 

In a closely watched Virginia House race, Republican Hung Cao and Democrat Jennifer Wexton clashed over parental rights in the public schools.  Wexton, who is co-chair of the House Transgender Equality Task Force (Yes, there really is such a thing!), defended forcing this bizarre ideology on our children in the public schools. 

 

Cao firmly rejected it, saying, “Biological boys do not belong in girls’ locker rooms or on girls’ sports teams.”

 

When asked about the legitimacy of the 2020 election, Cao deftly answered, “Joe Biden is the president of the United States. If you don’t believe me, go to your gas pumps or go to your grocery stores, and that’ll tell you who is.”

 

 

 

Build That Wall!

 

Frustration with Joe Biden’s illegal immigration crisis at the southern border has led to overwhelming support for one of Donald Trump’s signature initiatives.

 

A recent poll asked Americans if they supported building a wall along the Mexican border, and it wasn’t close.  By a whopping margin of 57% to 33% (including 45% of Democrats), Americans said, “Build That Wall!”  

 

Here’s a suggestion to GOP leaders in Congress:  A top priority next year must be defunding Biden’s army of IRS agents and refunding our Border Patrol, including full funding for the rest of the border wall!
