Putting Women Last

 

Conservatives and pro-life activists have been critical of Planned Parenthood for decades. So, it’s no surprise that many on the right are hoping President Trump will defund the nation’s largest abortion business.

 

However, it is surprising when Planned Parenthood gets criticism from the left, and especially from the New York Times. Of course, the Times put its best spin on the story, but even they could not hide the ugly truth.

 

The Times conducted an extensive review of “clinic documents and legal filings, as well as interviews with more than 50 current and former Planned Parenthood staff members.”

 

It found examples of women being rushed to hospitals after botched abortions, incorrect procedures being performed, and procedures being performed incorrectly. Many clinics are using old equipment and are in desperate need of repair. In one Nebraska clinic, overflowing sewage caused women to vomit.

 

Planned Parenthood staff complained that they were not trained for the procedures they had to do, that patients were on a “conveyor belt,” and that clinics often ran out of medication and supplies.

 

An internal Planned Parenthood report discovered “chronic underinvestment and negligence,” as well as “toxic” work environments. The organization has been repeatedly sued by employees for illegal employment practices.

 

But because of the pro-abortion “mission” mindset, the Times wrote that many employees “remain quiet.” As one former medical assistant put it, “We’re afraid of damaging the mission.”

 

This disturbing New York Times report is yet another reminder of why Planned Parenthood should not get one dime of taxpayer money. The only thing it should get is much closer scrutiny from state health officials.

 

By the way, when Planned Parenthood isn’t destroying babies, it’s transing children. In recent years, the pro-abortion organization made transgender insanity a major part of its “business model” and now claims that men can get pregnant.

 

 

 

More Hamas Horror

 

Can the evil of Hamas get any worse? Overnight, Israel revealed that Hamas did not release the body of Shiri Bibas, the mother of two little boys, whose remains were returned. Medical tests determined that the body in the casket labeled for Shiri Bibas was not hers.

 

Israeli medical examiners also determined Shiri’s two young sons, Ariel and Kfir, were not killed by an Israeli airstrike as Hamas claimed. They were intentionally murdered by Hamas monsters. An IDF spokesman said:

 

“The terrorists did not shoot the two young boys. They killed them with their bare hands. Afterwards, they committed horrific acts to cover up these atrocities.”

 

I hope the media are paying attention. Far too many outlets failed to tell the truth by describing the hostages as simply “deceased,” as if they died in a car accident.

 

Gilad Erdan, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, offered a stark reminder of the reality in Gaza: The October 7th attack wasn’t carried out just by Hamas fighters.

 

Once the Palestinians saw what was happening, “civilians” in Gaza ran into Israel to participate in the “fun” of slaughtering unarmed Jews.

 

There is video evidence that Shiri Bibas and her little boys were taken hostage by Palestinian “civilians” and dragged back into Gaza. Shiri can be seen clutching her two little boys, doing everything possible to shield them from the animals that surrounded them.

 

Ambassador Erdan also reminded us of another fact. No one disputes the evil of Nazi Germany. Yet there were German civilians who risked their own lives trying to save Jews during World War II. Those Germans were often killed as a result.

 

There is not one verified account of anyone in Gaza who tried to help a hostage or who tried to prevent innocent Israelis from being taken hostage.

 

 

 

A Needed Reality Check

 

The events taking place now between Israel and Hamas -- the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners in Israel -- are only phase one of the ceasefire agreement.

 

Phase two calls for Hamas to disarm and give up power in Gaza in exchange for Israel withdrawing its troops.

 

I do not believe phase two will be implemented. Hamas is not going to give up power easily, and I don’t know why Israel would trust them even if they said they had given up power.

 

Here is my conclusion:

 

There will never be a Palestinian state based in Gaza and in Judea and Samaria (often referred to as the West Bank), living side-by-side in peace with Israel.

 

The two-state solution embraced by every European country and, unfortunately, the U.S. foreign policy establishment, is a total farce, an impossibility, an utterly ludicrous idea.

 

There has never been any evidence that the people of Gaza want two states side by side living in harmony. They want to replace the nation of Israel.

 

That’s what “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” means. It’s a call for genocide by wiping out the Jewish state that exists between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. They want “Palestine” to be Jew-free.

 

Sadly, one reason why our foreign policy establishment keeps getting this so wrong is that they are, by and large, secular individuals. They do not understand the role that faith plays in how cultures live and interact.

 

Israel would welcome a real peace. But Gaza burns with a hatred for Jews and Christians.

 

 

 

Clueless Crockett

 

President Trump and Elon Musk have suggested that American taxpayers get a “DOGE rebate” from all the waste, fraud, and abuse they are cutting out of the government. But Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) doesn’t think you need the money.

 

Asked about the idea of a DOGE rebate, Crockett said, “Honestly, I don’t know what $5,000 will do for you. . .” That statement shows just how out of touch liberals are!

 

Even more astonishing, she also said, “We are not in the business of giving out money.” Crockett is a leading supporter of reparations to make up for slavery from 160 years ago.

 

What about forgiving student loan debt? Cash payments for illegal aliens? Two billion dollars for Stacey Abrams? Democrats are handing out your money all the time!

 

I don’t know if $5,000 rebates are a good idea or not. Some say any DOGE savings should go toward debt reduction because the national debt is a growing crisis. But Crockett’s comments are laughable!

 

They’re also revealing because they just want Donald Trump to fail. The idea that Trump might give Americans thousands of their hard-earned dollars back, rather than letting the left waste it, scares Democrats to death.

 

 

 

Keane On Ukraine

 

Gen. Jack Keane was on Fox News this morning. No one can accuse Gen. Keane of being a mouthpiece for Vladimir Putin. All during the Biden years, he was an advocate for helping Ukraine.

 

This morning, he said Zelensky made a terrible mistake by overreacting to not being included in the first round of talks. The purpose of those talks was only to establish the parameters of future talks.

 

Gen. Keane has had many conversations with President Trump. He said Trump is under no delusions about Vladimir Putin being a liar and a thug.

 

“I don’t believe for a second that President Trump is making major concessions to the Russians,” Keane said. “The president understands full well what the issues are here and that we cannot make Ukraine more vulnerable as a result of a deal with the Russians.”

 

Keane added that one of the main issues central to ending this carnage is a deal granting the United States access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals, which we desperately need as the threat from communist China becomes more and more menacing.

 

“Once that mineral deal is resolved,” Keane said, “this is in the rearview mirror.” General Keane urged everyone to take a deep breath and just wait and see what Donald Trump and J.D. Vance can work out.

 

As a reminder, Russia attacked neighboring countries in 2008 (Bush), in 2014 (Obama), and in 2022 (Biden). Putin didn’t invade anything during Donald Trump’s first term.

 

The idea promoted by some neocons (which some good conservatives buy into) that Trump is enabling Putin’s aggression is the exact opposite of reality. Donald Trump gave Ukraine weapons that Obama/Biden refused to give them.

 

 

 

Vance Responds

 

Vice President J.D. Vance forcefully responded yesterday to the flak the White House is getting over this diplomatic dispute. Vance simply laid out the reality on the ground. Here are his main points:

 

• Russia has a massive manpower advantage over Ukraine. Ukraine is not going to defeat Russia.

 

• Europe’s military is hollow, as is its industrial base, and its weapon supplies have been depleted to the point of creating “unacceptable risks” to their own military readiness.

 

• Our weapons stockpiles have been depleted. Sadly, our defense manufacturing base is nowhere close to meeting the challenge of one conflict in Europe. Globalist trade policies pursued by both parties gutted our industrial base, and now chickens are coming home to roost.

 

I know that some people say we can’t be weak with Putin because that will encourage Xi in China. But if you want to stop China from starting World War III, you don’t do that by getting bogged down in an endless war with Russia. You get tough with China.

 

 

 

End Of An Era

 

After 42 years, the McConnell era is coming to an end. Senator Mitch McConnell announced yesterday that he will not run for reelection next year. I think that’s a wise decision. He is obviously dealing with the ravages of age.

 

We will be watching Kentucky closely because there could be a brutal GOP primary, and if Gov. Andy Beshear (D) decides to run, he will be a formidable opponent.

 

Sen. McConnell has disappointed conservatives in recent years. But none of us should forget his refusal to let Barack Obama fill the Scalia vacancy with Merrick Garland. His leadership enabled Donald Trump to fill Scalia’s seat, and McConnell ensured two more Trump Supreme Court nominees got through the Senate.

 

His actions then were historic contributions to getting the country back on the right track.

 

 

 

Good News

 

• President Donald Trump froze funds to the Palestinian Authority’s security forces. These “law enforcement” officers have carried out at least 55 terror attacks against Israelis in the past five years.

 

• The Trump administration is firing nearly 7,000 IRS bureaucrats. Trump is draining the Swamp!

 

• Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins said the Trump administration is serious about preventing communist China from buying U.S. farmland.

 

• The Trump Department of Education instructed all schools and universities to end DEI programs in two weeks or risk losing federal funding.

 

• Kansas state legislators overrode the left-wing governor’s veto to ensure that children are protected from sterilizing drugs and mutilating surgeries.
