Our military has been in a crisis for years because no one wanted to join it. Young Americans were underwhelmed, if not frightened, by Joe Biden’s “leadership” as commander-in-chief, especially after his deadly retreat from Afghanistan.
The “geniuses” at the Biden Pentagon did their best to boost numbers. They opened up the military to transgender individuals. They even ran recruiting campaigns featuring drag queens. But they just couldn’t figure out why young men and women weren’t rushing to sign up.
Something has obviously changed. All of a sudden, recruiting numbers are going through the roof. December’s recruiting was the best in 12 years, and January’s recruiting was the best in 15 years!
Of course, what changed is obvious: The 2024 election gave us a new commander-in-chief. But Donald Trump started rebuilding the American military the day he announced his 2024 campaign.
The Trump/Vance campaign was one big ad for American greatness. Trump told young Americans, “Be proud of your country. The losing is going to stop.”
People were brought to tears at Trump’s rallies. Lee Greenwood singing, “I’m Proud To Be An American,” was a regular feature of those rallies. Trump won men under 30 by 14 points in the 2024 election.
Donald Trump is a walking ad for patriotism. When he was nearly assassinated but stood up with his fist in the air and blood on his face, saying, “FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT,” young Americans saw that and said to themselves, “There’s a leader I can trust.”
Many young men and women love America and want to demonstrate their patriotism. They are . . . by joining the military in record numbers.
Leadership matters.
A National Scandal
A few weeks ago, no one in America was eager to start a conversation about the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). But it’s a really hot topic now.
In fact, it may be the biggest story in the Trump administration’s efforts to get federal spending and the bureaucratic behemoth under control.
Some USAID programs do help needy people in other countries. But the aid was often used to force radical social agendas on countries, including countries with cultures built on orthodox Christianity.
U.S. officials told these countries, “You want our help? You need to make abortion a right, embrace the LGBTQ agenda, and push censorship policies called ‘combating misinformation.’”
USAID funded all kinds of absurd and obscene things, such as:
- $47,000 for a “transgender opera” in Colombia.
- $70,000 for the production of a “DEI musical” in Ireland.
- $1.5 million for DEI programs in Serbia.
- $2 million for sex changes and “LGBT activism” in Guatemala.
- $2 million for Moroccan pottery classes.
- $3 million to an arm of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
- $8 million for the left-wing media outlet Politico.
- $20 million for Sesame Street in Iraq.
- USAID funded Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company that put Hunter Biden on its payroll.
- USAID funded Metabiota, another company with links to Hunter Biden, that worked on “pandemic prediction and mitigation.”
- And, as previously noted, USAID funded the Wuhan lab that created COVID-19.
USAID and other federal agencies were funding left-wing non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working to “fundamentally transform America” by flooding our country with Third World migrants.
Just think about that! Through USAID, we were paying to bring in millions of migrants that the American people demanded we stop from coming here.
On and on it goes. Nobody voted for any of this insanity!
But as outrageous as that is, it gets even worse.
Sedition & Subversion
USAID adamantly refused congressional oversight, claiming it was a special agency. But it was really a massive slush fund for neo-Marxists and left-wing globalism.
People I have talked to from the first Trump administration and others say it’s a widely known secret that the CIA was a big part of USAID. That’s one reason why USAID was subsidizing efforts to overthrow conservative populist governments in multiple nations.
For example, the government of Hungary is led by a strong leader who puts his nation first. He’s not cooperating with the open borders and mass migration policies of the European Union. And he really infuriates the globalists when he says things like, “Hungary is a Christian nation.”
But if you’re a rogue agent at the CIA, you can’t go to Congress asking for $10 million to undermine the government of Hungary. So, you call your contact at USAID and say, “Here are the pro-democracy groups we need you to fund to get rid of the Hungarian government.” They failed in Hungary, but they succeeded in Brazil and Poland.
They are conducting their own foreign policy, pushing an agenda the American people oppose!
This is beyond insubordination. It’s sedition and subversion!
But that is what much of Washington has become – autonomous fiefdoms full of radicals who hate the country and the values we love.
When USAID was established by John F. Kennedy, it had a very specific mission. But it has become a corrupted, unregulated $50 billion bureaucracy aligned with the CIA and other Deep State agencies.
Instead of providing aid, it is interfering in the elections of other nations with no oversight. It’s pushing abortion, transgender ideology, conspiring with George Soros, funding the Wuhan lab, and who knows what else!
But the “outrage” is that Donald Trump is trying to stop it.
Like cornered animals, the left is fighting like hell to protect USAID because they don’t want the money spigot shut off.
That’s why we must fight back. Republicans in Congress must man up!
Rubio Takes Charge
USAID has been put under the jurisdiction of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and he is taking steps to get the agency under control.
Earlier this week, the USAID website went dark. This morning, the website came back up with a notice to all USAID employees.
If USAID is running a program to feed starving children in Sudan, that program, and other “mission-critical” priorities, will continue to operate.
But all nonessential employees, here and abroad, working in programs like those funding transgender operas are being put on administrative leave as of midnight tomorrow.
Then, we’re going to dig into those programs and root out the corruption.
Biden’s Spending Rush
Here’s something revealing. In the closing months of the Biden/Harris administration, all the way to the very end, the White House ordered the political leadership of all departments to push every penny out the door as quickly as possible.
That was an outrageous order! You know they were shoveling money to as many of their neo-Marxist “comrades” as fast as they possibly could. There wasn’t an ounce of concern from the media about the obvious potential for fraud and abuse of taxpayer money.
Don’t forget that Biden and the Democrats wanted to hire 80,000 IRS agents to massively increase audits of American taxpayers, going over every dime of income in excruciating detail.
But now that we’re sending one guy (Elon Musk) and a handful of aides to audit the government’s use of our money, the left is having a psychiatric breakdown!
I haven’t seen them this angry since about an hour ago.
Graham & Gabbard
Some Christians, and not just those on the religious left, have publicly opposed Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination to be Director of National Intelligence. They have cited alleged connections to certain factions in India, where bad things are happening to Christians.
We, and others, have demanded action against Christian persecution in India. But Gabbard is not going to be running U.S. policy on religious persecution. President Trump nominated her to run U.S. intelligence policy.
With that in mind, I thought you would be reassured by this statement from Reverend Franklin Graham:
“Tomorrow the Senate Intelligence Committee is scheduled to vote on Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination as the Director of National Intelligence. I’ve known Tulsi for many years and have a deep respect for her. I attended her confirmation hearing last week. I’ve always found her to be honest, incredibly smart, and a tough soldier.
“Tulsi understands the world in which we live. She’s a great American who loves this country and will put America first. The confirmation process has been challenging because of her more conservative views in recent years. Would you join me in praying that God will strengthen her, guide her, and give her favor?”
Breaking The Status Quo
President Trump’s suggestion yesterday that the United States could take over Gaza has caused some confusion and consternation. What he has said more often is that Gaza is a disaster area and the people there need to be moved somewhere else. Of course, the left and the media erupted with outrage over such a “crazy idea.”
Maybe I should start a business translating Trump. Here’s what is crazy: Repeating the same cycle in Gaza is crazy.
Time and time again, Hamas attacks Israel, and Israel, for its own security, has to respond, resulting in death and destruction. The United States and other countries then send money to rebuild Gaza. That money ends up in Hamas’s hands and is used to build “terror tunnels” and buy weapons. Then, the violence starts all over again.
That is the crazy plan that has been followed for decades. And all these people who think they are so much smarter than Donald Trump just want to keep doing it.
President Trump is saying we need to break the cycle. He’s pressuring other Muslim countries in the region to absorb the two million Muslims in Gaza. But they don’t want to do that because they know how fanatical and hate-filled the vast majority of that population is.
There will be nothing good in Gaza until this poisonous hatred of Jews in Israel and America ends. But it’s not going to end. So, Trump believes it makes more sense to move them and turn Gaza into an oasis.
The road the people of Gaza are on cannot end well. Some say the solution is to give the Palestinians their own state. The Palestinians elected Hamas to govern Gaza! No one wants to create another failed radical Islamic state in the Middle East.
Trump is just trying to upset the status quo. He’s trying to get foreign leaders and all of us to think outside the box.
More Winning
President Trump is signing another executive order today upholding normalcy and common sense. This order to keep men out of women’s sports will make it clear that the Title IX law banning discrimination in educational programs is based on biological reality, not invented identities.
In other news, the first plane carrying illegal aliens to Gitmo has landed. These “high-threat individuals” are members of the vicious Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua.
