Thursday, October 26, 2023 -- Biden Stands With Palestine, More Lies, Standing With Israel

Biden Stands With Palestine

President Joe Biden addressed reporters yesterday from the White House Rose Garden after a meeting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.  Three things from Biden’s remarks jumped out at me.

Earlier this week, as Israel continues fighting the terrorists of Hamas, Biden declared that he is “committed to the dignity and self-determination” of the Palestinian people.  That seemed like an odd thing to say now -- in the middle of this conflict.

Well, yesterday, he did it again.  Biden repeated the mantra that whatever happens next, there “has to be a two-state solution,” two states, Israel and Palestine, living side-by-side in peace and security.

That’s the same formula the West has attempted to impose on Israel for decades.  It sounds nice, but it’s insane. There’s just no other way to describe it.

Where is the logic in creating yet another failed, radical Islamic, terrorist-supporting state in the Middle East, carved out of Judea and Samaria?

Thousands of Palestinians ran out of Gaza to invade Israel, intent on committing the most vicious attacks possible.  Where’s the evidence that the Palestinians want two states living side-by-side in peace?

Who is Israel’s “peace partner”?  It’s clearly not Hamas.  And it’s not the so-called “moderate” Fatah Party, led by Holocaust denier Mahmoud Abbas.

Here’s something to keep in mind.  When the fighting erupted, Egypt sealed its border with Gaza and refused to take refugees from Gaza.  There’s a reason for that.

Egypt already has a problem with extremists and they don’t need any more coming in from Gaza.  In fact, Egypt regularly keeps the Gaza border sealed for security reasons.

Biden also repeated the bizarre statement that “Hamas does not represent the vast majority of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip or anywhere else.”  That’s an outrageous lie!

Never forget that the Palestinian people voted for Hamas.  And they still support Hamas.

The people of Gaza have been polled repeatedly about what they want. They want one thing and it’s not two states.  They want one state, which would be at least the 50th nation in the world with a majority Muslim population.

They want all the land of Israel in one nation, Palestine, where the Jews of Israel would be a minority -- if they were alive at all.  Mahmoud Abbas has been clear that his Palestinian state would be “Jew free.”

Biden’s Foreign Meddling

Totally unprompted yesterday, Biden also took the opportunity to take a cheap shot at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Before addressing the Australian prime minister, Biden said, “I continue to be alarmed about extremist settlers attacking Palestinians in the West Bank . . . they’re attacking Palestinians in places that they’re entitled to be, and it has to stop.  They have to be held accountable.”

Why is the president of the United States bringing up a law enforcement issue in the sovereign nation of Israel?

Imagine the reaction of the White House and the media if Bibi Netanyahu said, “President Biden needs to stop these attacks on Jews taking place in New York, Chicago and on many American university campuses.”

There would be an explosion of outrage reminding Mr. Netanyahu that we will police ourselves.

But Biden can barely contain his hostility for a conservative leader like Netanyahu.  He knows it would be a disaster for him politically if he didn’t side with Israel.  Nevertheless, he is sending as many signals as he can to appease the anti-Semitic base of the Democrat Party.

More Lies

Surprisingly, Biden took a few questions from reporters after his remarks.  He was asked whether he was pressuring Israel to hold off on a ground operation in Gaza.

Biden lied so smoothly when he said, “No.  What I have indicated to [Netanyahu] is that if it’s possible to get these [hostages] out safely, that’s what he should do.  It’s their decision, but I did not demand it.”

Really?

Well, consider this headline from the Wall Street Journal“Israel Agrees to U.S. Request to Delay Invasion of Gaza.”

And Axios reports this:  “Israel is willing to delay a ground invasion of Gaza for a few days to allow talks on releasing a large number of the hostages . . . The Israelis’ stance on hostages comes as the Biden administration is trying to nudge Israel toward delaying a ground war in Gaza.”

Both outlets are places where the Deep State runs to leak narratives it wants out, and both are running articles bragging that the Biden Administration is holding Israel back.

That’s the message the White House wants to get out to the Democrat Party’s anti-Israel base, even if Biden can’t quite say that in a public press conference to the broader electorate.

Back To Charlottesville

I want to revisit the Charlottesville “Big Lie” because it is so telling about who Joe Biden really is.

In 2017, a bunch of morons carrying tiki torches and chanting anti-Semitic slogans marched in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Also happening at the same time were demonstrations for and against historic Civil War monuments linked to the Confederacy.

President Donald Trump was peppered with questions about all of this.

Referring to the protests over the Civil War monuments, Trump said, You also had people that were very fine people on both sides.”  And just to be clear, Trump added, I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”

But ever since then, Joe Biden has attacked Donald Trump claiming he called neo-Nazis “very fine people.”  Trump LITERALLY, LITERALLY, LITERALLY said the exact opposite.

Multiple left-wing media outlets, including the BBC and CNN, checked the transcript and said Joe Biden is not telling the truth.  Sadly, that doesn’t stop him from repeating his lie.

But it’s even deeper than that.

When Biden recounts this lie, he often says that he decided to run for president when he heard Trump call neo-Nazis “very fine people,” which, of course, Trump never said.

I’m bringing this up again, because there are real neo-Nazis right now all throughout America.  They are, broadly speaking, supporters of Joe Biden and his political party.

They are the youth on our college campuses chanting calls for the genocide of the Jewish people and destruction of the only Jewish state in the world.  They are the millions of immigrants we have imported from Muslim nations in recent decades.  Their rabid anti-Semitism would make Hitler proud!

Earlier this week, they projected anti-Semitic slogans, including “Glory to our martyrs,” on the walls of the George Washington University library.  They are praising the murderers of Hamas who invaded Israel!

I have yet to hear Biden condemn these actual Nazis.

I have yet to hear him tell our universities to stop empowering them.

I have yet to hear him tell the FBI to stop spying on Catholics and start focusing on these anti-Semitic extremists.

Joe Biden is not a “nice guy.”  All this tells what a disgusting and horrible person he really is.

When Glenn Youngkin ran for governor of Virginia in 2021, allies of the Democrat Party paid a group of young men to dress like neo-Nazis and show up with Youngkin signs at his rallies to give the impression that they were Youngkin supporters.

Their willingness to falsely smear the most pro-Israel Americans, your typical conservative, Christian Republican voter, as “semi-fascists” and “Nazis” is beyond the pale.  And it tells you everything you need to know about the neo-Marxist left.

Meanwhile, anti-Semitism is growing (here and here) in the party that constantly smears conservatives as “anti-Semitic.”

Standing With Israel

In the aftermath of the horrific Hamas massacre of innocent Israelis, Christian leaders in America knew we could not remain silent.  We had to take a stand.

Under the direction of Dr. Susan Michael, American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI), a coalition of more than 100 prominent pastors and ministry leaders, joined together to publicly declare our solidarity with Israel.  I am proud to be one of the key leaders in the ACLI coalition at such a time as this.

ACLI sent letters this week to President Biden, U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and to the presidents of American universities urging them to stand with our ally Israel, to defeat the terrorists of Hamas and to fight anti-Semitism.

You can read the letters here.  Pastors and ministry leaders also encouraged to add their signatures.

In related news, Speaker Mike Johnson wasted no time yesterday in getting the House of Representatives back to work.  And the first piece of legislation he brought to the House floor was a resolution expressing America’s support for Israel as it defends itself against Hamas.

The resolution passed overwhelmingly, but not unanimously.  Sixteen representatives – 15 Democrats and 1 Republican – either opposed the resolution or were too cowardly to take a stand and voted “present.”

The following representatives opposed the resolution:

Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY)

Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO)

Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN)

Rep. Al Green (D-TX)

Rep. Summer Lee (D-PA)

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY)

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN)

Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL)

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI)

The following representatives voted “present:”

Rep. Greg Casar (D-TX)

Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX)

Rep. Chuy Garcia (D-IL)

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA)

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA)

Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-NY)

Prayers For Maine

Americans woke up to the terrible news of a mass shooting in Maine.  At least 18 were killed and 13 were wounded at two locations.  The killer, someone known to be struggling with mental illness, remains at large.

Please join Carol and me in praying for the families of the victims, for law enforcement officers, first responders and all those impacted by the violence.
