“Open Borders” Biden may have a big problem on his hands. But it remains to be seen if the American people will ever know about it. Did you know that over the last few years, there have been repeated attempts by Chinese nationals to gain access to American military bases? This isn’t just a couple of random incidents. It’s happened more than 100 times. Did you know that? Congress just held a hearing about this issue, trying to figure out what the heck is going on. You’d think that would be big news.

There are reports that Joe Biden is about to issue an executive order to close the southern border when illegal crossings are exceeding 4,000 a day. Biden’s handlers obviously understand how badly the immigration issue is hurting him, and they’re desperate to show some “action.” But this plan is total baloney. For starters, 4,000 crossings a day is still 1,460,000 illegal aliens entering our country a year. So, Biden thinks we’re supposed to tolerate nearly 1.5 million illegal aliens crossing our border. That’s not a “closed border.”

It is impossible to exaggerate the extent to which the left is willing to go to indoctrinate our children with the LGBTQ agenda. For example, Joe Biden is using the federal government to force every school in the country to allow boys into our daughters’ bathrooms and locker rooms. It is also impossible to exaggerate the great lengths they will go to in order to hide what they are doing. The latest example comes from La Costa Heights Elementary School in Carlsbad, where a fifth-grade class was required to read the book My Shadow Is Pink.

We got a report this morning on the latest measure of inflation, and it was bad news for Joe Biden. The producer price index, which measures the cost of goods and services being produced, went up much higher than expected. Economists had predicted an increase of 0.3% for April, or 3.6% on an annualized basis. But the producer price index came in at 0.5% for the month, or 6% on an annualized basis. Donald Trump held an unbelievable rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, Saturday. Some Trump enthusiasts said as many as 100,000 people turned out. Seems high.   An official for the city of Wildwood estimated the group was at least 80,000 strong. Some New Jersey papers said the crowd was 12,000 people. No way! Let’s just say it was around 50,000 people. That’s still huge! Last year, Trump held an event in South Carolina that reportedly drew 50,000. But that was ruby red South Carolina, not deep blue New Jersey!

President Biden issued a proclamation Wednesday recognizing the National Day of Prayer. I know the National Day of Prayer organizers were very happy he did that. And he actually mentioned God twice. The consumer price index, a key measure of inflation, rose 0.4% last month, more than expected. Inflation now stands at 3.5%. While 0.4% might not seem like much, it would be 4.8% for the year if it continues rising at that pace, far from the Federal Reserve’s 2% target. The Biden Justice Department is vehemently refusing to turn over audio of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview with Joe Biden. Attorney General Merrick Garland missed yesterday’s deadline to hand the audio over to congressional investigators. All the department provided was a transcript of Hur’s interview with Biden’s ghostwriter. The stubborn refusal to comply with congressional subpoenas demonstrates the utter contempt this administration has for Congress and the rule of law.

Former President Donald Trump issued a statement this morning on his Truth Social platform outlining his position on abortion. The statement was necessary because the Biden campaign believes they can defeat Trump, take back the House and hold the Senate if they can convince the public that Trump would outlaw all abortions. No matter what he said, it was guaranteed that someone would be disappointed. Trump made it clear that he is pro-life, with exceptions for rape, incest, and to save the life of the mother.
